Happy Birthday JOEY!

Today is my brother Joey's Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is 21! So weird! Just yesterday I was teaching him to drive stick shift! (That's what he said in his email to me this morning...after I reminded him that I taught him how to ride his bike, lol) So crazy! My brother is entering adulthood for real now...

My parents bought tickets to Brazil last week and will be leaving May 27th to go pick him up! I am so excited for them! My parents deserve this, they are amazing parents, who have worked really hard to raise such a good kid like Joey! I don't think they've ever been on a big trip like this besides their honeymoon to Disneyland/the Mexico boarder. Yay! Well the count down has begun! I'll let you all know when his homecoming is! Probably the second Sunday in June....

Coming Up!

I will be going to Logan in a couple weeks to meet the founder of http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ , thanks to Katey:)! I am interested to hear more secrets and to step in the "sole" of society. If you haven't read or heard of this blog site before, beware, it may not be for you. People from around the world send in postcards to this guy with some of their deepest, darkest secrets... some being more gruesome or disheartening than others. I like this blog for two reasons. One, people can openly share their sole and get things off their chest and two, it helps me realize that we're all human, we all make mistakes, we all have thoughts we regret or ones we would never share... I guess I just think of the blog as a mini therapy session, lol. Anyway, just beware that if you check it out, it is not rated G and you have be one who can think outside the box:).

She said..."CRAP!"

I don't even know if I have any blog followers... I haven't blogged since Feb. 20th, that's a world record for me! Life's been busy and when you get out of the habit... it's just hard to start again, lol.

This school year has been rather interesting to say the least... I have so many stories to share... For starters, I have an EXTREMELY difficult, defiant little rascal in my class this year... all the other teachers feel bad for me... well today he wouldn't do any of his classwork, like most of the days of this school year (he may be smart but his report card is going to have straight N's, aka F's). So today I looked at him and said "I'm not putting up with this crap anymore, you need to do your work." The class went dead silent... I've never used that word or any other "bad" word for that matter in the classroom, it kind of made me chuckle inside. Needless to say all of my students kept on task for the remainder of the hour:).

Have you ever????

Have you ever been talking to someone on the phone and then when you hung up with them, you started talking about that person to someone who you're hanging out with?

If you haven't, good for you because you're a better person than I am...although I think you might be lying if you have only x chromosomes... So the other day I am talking to someone and then my phone stops working. I couldn't hear the other person on the line and it looked like it wasn't connected. I thought maybe that person had hung up on me... turns out they could hear what I was saying the whole time! It was my sister! Good thing! I was still embarrassed as ever and I hadn't said anything really mean, just an opinion... she just laughed and thought it was funny and said that I should be grateful it was her and not anyone else...fhewwwww! That'll teach me!

Fun with Les!

Leslee and I hung today! It was so much fun! Dinner, movies, worked on her FHE flyer and her talk tomorrow... She's the BEST SISTER EVER! We had some really good laughs!
